A group of members of the congregation takes on the task of inspecting and maintaining the fabric of all St Mary's buildings including the church hall.

Where possible, small works are done by members of the congregation. The group gets PCC authorisation for larger-scale work in its responsibility for promoting the beautification of the buildings, keeping them clear of rubbish and maintaining the grounds.

In the past year or so the working party has replaced light bulbs, cleaned out gutters, installed new lead gullies and rainwater down pipes, installed a new telephone system and planted a Judas tree in front of the New Church Rooms.
