More information from Mark Perrett, the Parish Administrator on 020 7254 6072
(Tuesday-Friday) or email stmarystokenewington@btinternet.com. Our
former parish hall has been refurbished for use as a community centre.
The Church would like the Centre to be used for the benefit of all people in the
locality and the premises have been designed primarily to provide meeting space for different
community groups serving the public, as well as for other worthwhile activities. There are two main spaces for hire:
Please note that private social events are not normally considered, but we can let the large hall out for children's parties. Please enquire.
The
New Church Rooms During the week and at weekends we have available for hire: A kitchen is also available for hire. If we are unable to help, we may have space space available at our affiliated church at St. John’s Brownswood Park in Gloucester Drive, N4, closer to Finsbury Park. If you are interested, do email or phone us. We often have day-time space available and also during the Easter and Summer holiday periods. This is ideal if you have a particular course or event you would like to run. Please ask. The 73, 476 and 393 buses all stop in Stoke Newington Church Street just moments from the Community Centre and the New Church Rooms. Each year, between January and March, we host for one night a week usually Wednesday evenings) a night shelter for the homeless, providing a hot meal, a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning.
