St. Mary's Stoke Newington explore evensong in lent |

This Lent we have been exploring
different ways of doing evening worship: looking back to
where our contemporary evensong service has come from and
looking around at how other people have developed the
tradition. The
themes link into the morning Eucharist Sermons on Christian
spiritualities.
We are hoping this will give us some space to think about how our Evensong might be renewed in the future and be a worthwhile journey in its own right. After each service there will be the opportunity to reflect and share, for those who would welcome this.
