This Sunday at
St Mary’s, Martyn is presiding at the All Age Eucharist
and at the Sung Eucharist. Also at the Sung Eucharist,
Jonathan is deacon and Alan Piggot is our guest Lent
preacher. Alan is vicar of St. Mary of Eton and
former curate here at St. Mary’s and is preaching
on the Caroline Divines. At St. John’s, Fiona
Weaver is presiding and preaching and Alan is
deacon.

On Sundays during Lent
we will be exploring different Christian approaches
to spirituality, with preachers at the 11am service
and reflective services on each theme in the evening.

PCC meets
on Monday 15th at 7.45pm in the NCR.

Beryl’s celebrated Lent
Lunches are every Tuesday from 12-2pm in
the New Church Rooms. Do come along and join in. All
contributions go towards the Lent Appeal
“Transforming Lives”.

Evensong
Liturgy Group meets on Wednesday 17th at
7.45pm in
NCR. Everyone welcome as we meet to develop
ideas and words for the Evensong liturgy. See

House Group
Leaders meet on Saturday 20th March at 11am in
the Rectory after the Staff Meeting at 10am.

At St. John’s on
Sunday 21st at 6.30pm there will be a performance of
the “Gospel
of St. Mark” by Lance Pierson as seen at
the Edinburgh Fringe last year. Tickets for £5
are available from Beryl or Martyn.

Our Electoral Roll is
open for revision until 3rd April. We invite all
of you who are new and been regularly coming to
St. Mary’s over the last 6 months or live in the
Parish, to enrol. Please take away the necessary
forms on the table at the back of church. For
those of you who are already on the Roll but whose
addresses or contact details may have changed,
could you please check the list and notify the
Electoral Roll officer, Mark Perrett, of any
discrepancies. Please note that you must be on the
Electoral Roll to be eligible to stand for PCC or
Warden at the APCM on the 18th April, .
