Our main Sunday services at St Mary’s
are
the 9.30am All Age Eucharist and the 11am Sung Eucharist.
-
Families are particularly
welcome at the 9.30am All-age Eucharist. Do
sit as near to the front as you can. At the front you
will find musical instruments to be played during the
service, some toys and books if children need them and
also mats for children (and adults) to sit on. If
this is your first time at St Mary’s do introduce
yourself to one of the clergy after the service.
-
This Sunday at St Mary’s at the 9.30am service, Lucyann is presiding. At the 11.00am Eucharist, Graeme is presiding and preaching and Lucyann
is deacon. At St. John’s, Jonathan is presiding and
preaching.

Pam Wadsworth will be selling
paintings and pictures next Sunday 5th September after the
11.00am service. If you have anything you can donate, do

As during the
Stoke Fest in June, and if the weather is fine, they will
be on display on the railings outside church. All in aid
of general church funds! And don’t think that by buying
something, you can then enter it for the Art Group
Project, which we still need people to sign up for!
-
This
year’s Patronal Festival is on Sunday 12th
September for which the All Age and Sung Eucharist
services have combined into ONE service only at 10.30am.
Please make a note of the special start time! The
service will be followed by the Patronal Lunch, which
this year is a Bring & Share, in the New Church
afterwards or, if hot and sunny, in the Rectory Garden!

If you
would like to donate the flag for your particular
country or nationality, we will fly it on your national
day!
