The main service every Sunday is the Sung Eucharist at 10.30 am. During term times our Sunday School provides a programme for children from nursery to teen age, and if you have a baby with you, we have a comfortable room to take them to if they need a change of scene.

Also on Sundays, at 8 am there is a said Eucharist according to the Book of Common Prayer. Also using the BCP, Matins is sung at 9:30 am, and Evensong with Sermon at 6.30 pm.

The worship we owe to God is offered with care and reverence, with good music and strong congregational participation: as members of the congregation, servers, welcomers and singers, and in preparing and in leading prayers.

Holy Communion is celebrated on most days of the week. Morning and Evening Prayer are also said. The times and locations of these mid-week services are posted in the Church porch, the front page of this website and are in the parish magazine, New Prospect.

Our worship is heightened by the great festivals of the Christian year: the splendour of the Christmas Midnight Mass, the Procession of Witness on Palm Sunday, the solemnity of the Holy Week ceremonies culminating in the Paschal Vigil of Holy Saturday, and the joy of the Resurrection on Easter morning.

Keep an eye on our Noticeboard for the exact times of special festival services at St Mary's.

After the Eucharist on Sunday mornings, refreshments are served at the back of the Church. Many members of the congregation stay behind to have a cup of tea or coffee and talk with other members of the Church and visitors.
